WARWICK, R.I. (WJAR) — A Warwick pizza shop hasn’t yet celebrated its first anniversary, but it already has a national pizza title under its belt.
Joe’s Pizza of Warwick took home first place in the non-traditional thin New Haven-style pizza category at the Great American Pizza Challenge, held during Pizza Expo Columbus in Ohio.
The competition took place Oct. 11 and 12, bringing pizza makers together to compete in several categories.
