The Rhode Island Department of Transportation said cleanup continued Saturday morning after the demolition of a bridge over Interstate 195 in East Providence.
It said reopening the highway has been delayed because of the weather.
“Due to weather conditions, the 10 a.m. partial lane opening has been adjusted,” RIDOT said on X. “This will allow the crews working to clear the highway to reopen all lanes simultaneously, with the work trending ahead of the noon target.”…
