The Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth and Families announced on Friday a fatality of a 17-year-old. The department said that the incident occurred on Thursday. DCYF notified the Office of Child Advocate of the incident, officials said. The DCYF did not share any more information due to confidentiality laws.
