Couples can get cozy at three of the nation’s top romantic destinations here in New England, according to Good Housekeeping.
The publication released a list of the 30 most romantic Valentine’s Day getaways in the U.S. and included Stowe, Vermont; Bar Harbor, Maine; and Providence, R.I.
Stowe is very “Hallmark Movie-esque,” wrote Good Housekeeping.
“After a day on the slopes, live out your hygge fantasies at Tälta Lodge, a Bluebird by Lark Hotel. Tälta is the Swedish word for ‘camp,’ and this property is a modern take on classic ski lodging,” wrote Good Housekeeping.
In Bar Harbor, visitors get a cozy getaway paired with plenty of outdoor adventure, the publication wrote.
“You’ll have easy access to both Acadia National Park and all the Bar Harbor eateries and lighthouses you could imagine,” wrote Good Housekeeping, which recommended staying at the newly renovated Little Fig Hotel.
