JOHNSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — A Rhode Island State Police cruiser was involved in a crash on Route 6 East in Johnston Tuesday afternoon.
12 News spotted a cruiser with significant rear-end damage in the breakdown lane near the Killingly Street off-ramp.
It’s unclear whether a trooper was inside the vehicle at the time or if anyone was injured in the crash.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
