NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WLNE) – Today marks the last day that Rhode Island state beaches will be staffed and have open concession stands. The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management said they will have minimal lifeguard staffing at Scarborough north and south, Roger Wheeler, East Matunuck, Charlestown Breachway, and Misquamicut State Beaches.
