Their list of the best 390 colleges, which is released annually, is entirely based on student surveys. The company asks thousands of students across the country various questions about academics, administration, campus life, the student body at their school and personal experiences at their school.
After gathering the survey data, the Princeton Review creates a list of the best schools, which means schools with the highest consensus rankings across the most categories.
