Sims Metal, a global leader in metal recycling, announced it has purchased two electric forklifts to continue progressing its sustainability goals, as well as further contributing to the State of Rhode Island’s ambitious 2021 Act on Climate. This brings Sims Metal’s total investment to date in electrification to nearly half a million dollars operating across the Providence site.
