Thomas Richardson, South Kingstown High School
Thomas Richardson stands out as an intellectually curious young man, ready to learn for the sake of knowledge and incredibly accomplished in his studies. He excels with a rigorous academic schedule, sports and an after-school job with a quiet confidence that makes doing so look easy. Thomas is a member of the National Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society, a member of the South Kingstown High School volleyball and cross country teams, volunteers in the community, and works at both Yawgoo in the winter and Narragansett Surf Shop in the summer. He is a thoughtful, calming presence in class and outside of it. His contributions to our school and community have been and will continue to be outstanding, thus earning him this nomination as our student of the week.
