HORRY COUNTY, SC (WPDE) – Robert Edge has been on the job as the Horry County Coroner for 32 years. In that time, he’s never seen a more devastating drug than fentanyl. He said the opioid epidemic is continuing to get worse and 2023 showed that in the number of deaths they had each week.
