Nikki Haley Says Campaign Raised $1 Million Since New Hampshire

‘We’ve only had two states that have voted, we got 48 more that deserve to vote,’ Haley said in South Carolina

GOP candidate Nikki Haley seemed optimistic during her campaign rally in South Carolina on Wednesday — one day after her loss in New Hampshire — when she announced her campaign had raised a million dollars in one day.

“We have raised a million dollars since I gave that speech last night,” Haley said. “Online, in small dollars. We have had 200,000 donors from all 50 states, 95% of those donations are $200 or less.”

“This is about real Americans.”

The former UN ambassador also seemed not to be bothered by Donald Trump’s wins in both Iowa and New Hampshire, saying “we’ve only had two states that have voted, we got 48 more that deserve to vote.”

Trump won Tuesday night’s primary with over 56% of the vote to Haley’s 43%. She is now moving on with her campaign in her home state, despite calls from other Republicans to suspend her campaign.

“We are not gonna sit there and just give up,” Haley continued. “We’re gonna fight.”
