South Carolina’s bathroom bill sparks concern from LGBTQ advocates

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) – It’s a proposal that would permit students to only use restrooms in South Carolina public schools that align with their biological sex. It’s authored by upstate Rep. April Cromer (R-Anderson), and – if passes – students across the state could be affected. Local LGBTQ advocates believe the bill sends a negative message.
