Nikki Haley Hit With Second Swatting Incident

The 2024 GOP hopeful said her 90-year-old parents had guns drawn on them last month by police

Nikki Haley was targeted by not one, but two swatting incidents last month, according to a new report.

The 2024 GOP hopeful confirmed on Sunday reports that police responded to her South Carolina home in December to answer to a non-existent shooting.

Haley said her 90 and 87-year-old parents had guns drawn on them by police officers. Haley was not home at the time.

A new report from Reuters reveals there was a second incident where someone called to report her daughter had been killed. This incident took place just two days after the initial call.

Haley’s campaign did not immediately return a request for comment, but the former United Nations ambassador said on Sunday that the one swatting incident that was reported was not the first time she faced such harassment.

Swatting incidents have been on the rise in recent months . The act involves calling a false incident into police, typically a shooting, to get them to respond to a home or business.
