There Are Over 300,000 More Women Than Men Registered To Vote in SC

According to a new report published by WBTW, over 300,000 more women than men are registered to vote in SC. According to data from the SC Election Commission, there are 3.25 million registered voters in the state, 1.8 million women and 1.45 million men.

The report also states that there are more women registered to vote in every county in the state. SC’s total population is 5.4 million, 51.3% are women and 48.7% are men.

The Democratic primary will be on Saturday, February 3, 2024, and the Republican primary will take place on February 24, 2024. Polls will be open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on both days.
