Man Dies After Running Off Road in Oconee County:
Tragedy struck Sunday night as 58-year-old driver Bobby Glenn Blackwell lost his life in a fatal crash on Old Hurricane Road, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. when Blackwell, traveling south, veered off the left side of the road, colliding with an embankment, and overturning. Despite the swift response, Blackwell succumbed to the injuries at the scene.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic accident.
Lexington County Crash Leaves 1 Dead, 2 Injured:
A collision in Lexington County, South Carolina, claimed one life and left two others injured on Sunday afternoon.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. on South Lake Drive near Paps Drive intersection. The crash involved a 2016 Kawasaki motorcycle traveling on South Lake Drive and a 2003 Chevy SUV.
The motorcycle’s driver, transported to Lexington Medical Center, succumbed to injuries. The SUV’s driver and one of the three passengers were also taken to Lexington Medical Center.
