SC bill could alter Sunday liquor sales, boost distillery business

LITTLE RIVER, S.C. (WPDE) – A bill discussed in the State House on Wednesday could potentially change the way spirits are purchased in the Palmetto State. South Carolina is one of the four states where it is illegal for retailers to sell liquor on Sundays. Right now, only restaurants and bars can sell hard alcohol by the drink.
