GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley defended herself against criticism from the hosts of ABC’s “The View” this week.
Haley was asked to respond Tuesday in an interview on Fox News to remarks made by the hosts of “The View,” who criticized her and her campaign. “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin said Haley is “not gonna be the nominee” and that she would need to “take several seats,” while co-host Ana Navarro said Haley is going to “get beaten like a bongo drum in her home state” by former President Trump.
Haley seemed to directly respond to co-host Whoopi Goldberg, who asked on Monday’s “The View” episode: “Nikki, what have you done? What have you done? Really, what can you point to?”
“Well, I’ve done quite a bit. I will tell you as governor, we accomplished a lot. As the U.N. ambassador, we accomplished a lot. I did. A whole lot more than Whoopi Goldberg will ever do. And it is not the ladies on ‘The View’ that I ever care to impress,” Haley said on Fox News’s “Democracy 2024.”
She later posted on X , formerly Twitter, that she is “not worried about what the political or media class thinks of me, and that includes Whoopi Goldberg.”
