About 20 linemen from East River and Sioux Valley Electric traveled from South Dakota to help restore power in Pickens County, South Carolina. East River Electric Area Foreman Erik Traxler said it took the crews about three days to drive from South Dakota to the area that was ravaged by Hurricane Helene.
