South Carolina – The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) plans major changes to its Medicaid regulations as we started the new year. These modifications will enable participants in select Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver programs to get hospice care simultaneously, therefore fundamentally altering the way some of the most vulnerable state residents receive their treatment.
