To get there, make your way to the lovely town of Traveler’s Rest. This picturesque spot was recently featured in Southern Living’s list of the best small towns, making it an ideal destination for your culinary adventure.

The eatery can be found at the crossroads of Highway 290 and Tigerville Road, and from the outside, it appears rather unremarkable. You might even zoom by without noticing it at all.

It features an adorable sign that includes a drawing of its namesake. A drover refers to someone who herds animals, typically sheep, cattle, and horses, over considerable distances while they are still on their feet.

Upon entering, you’ll quickly uncover all the reasons to be thankful for finding this spot. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and welcoming!

You’ll find a wide variety of options available on the menu.

You are welcome to dine here for breakfast or lunch from Tuesday to Thursday, and for breakfast, lunch, or dinner on Friday.

As for the BBQ, it’s exceptionally delicious! It stands out on its own, though the sauce is definitely a tasty option if you prefer to include it.
