The journey is primarily experienced along the 1.75-mile boardwalk that meanders through the forest, gracefully spanning a serene blackwater swamp.

The Francis Beidler Forest is home to a diverse range of fascinating wildlife, including alligators, raptors, and various other intriguing species.
