RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Rapid City residents are invited to help preserve the city’s history by sharing old family photographs this weekend.
The Rapid City Historic Preservation Commission and The Journey Museum will host “Picture Our Past” from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at the museum, located at 222 New York St.
Residents can bring up to three photographs taken in 1976 or earlier. Organizers are looking for images of historic homes, buildings, signs, architecture and city landscapes…
