Noem: South Dakotans dying at hands of cartels

PIERRE, S.D. (KELO) – Drugs smuggled by cartels over the US-Mexico border, including fentanyl, are causing deaths and fueling violence throughout South Dakota, including in Indian country, according to Governor Kristi Noem, and therefore state government must prepare to provide more help to the state of Texas in turning back what she called “an invasion.”
