Bill to further penalize drunk drivers moves on to the State Senate

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) – Drunk Driving can reap much bigger consequences for South Dakota. Tim Rensch says that hopefully this bill will make the drunk driver think twice about the consequences, and what the future violation could hold. House Bill 11 95 is currently sitting in the senate judiciary, it would hold an intoxicated driver accountable to pay restitution, in the form of child support, if they kill a parent or guardian in vehicular homicide.
