If you want to vote, you need to register soon
If you are new to the state or moved addresses, you will need to submit your voter registration information if you want to vote in the November 5 election. There are a few state issues on the ballot as well.
Be informed on the seven 2024 ballot measures
You can print a registration form from the secretary of state’s website, fill it out and submit it to your local county auditor’s office. South Dakota law does not allow you to submit your voter registration form through a fax or email.
