If South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) failed to see the contradiction in declaring that she doesn’t care about former Democratic President Barack Obama , perhaps she does now.
On Tuesday, Noem seemed ticked that Obama had joked about her uncomfortable appearance with Donald Trump as the GOP presidential nominee vibed to music for nearly 40 minutes at a recent campaign event in Pennsylvania. “She’s standing there with this weird look on her face like she doesn’t really know what’s going on. It’s like a hostage video,” Obama said at a rally for Trump’s rival, Kamala Harris, in Madison, Wisconsin.
Her post referenced not only Obama’s close ties to Biden, his former vice president who beat Trump in the 2020 White House race, but also his more distant link to rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, who has long boosted Democrats like Obama and recently pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking and other federal charges.
Noem, who lobbied hard to be Trump’s running mate and revealed in a book that she once shot and killed her “untrainable” dog, got owned on X for her lack of self-awareness.
