More than $600,000 raised for SD Open Primaries

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Recently filed financial reports reveal that South Dakota Open Primaries has raised over half a million dollars in support of Amendment H with most of the money going to advertising.

Amendment H is one of seven statewide ballot measures South Dakotans will decide in this year’s General Election. It would establish a top-two primary system in the state of South Dakota.

Total income throughout the pre-general period for this committee totaled $690,725.06
