It’s not every school that can feed their students prime rib. That’s according to Virginia Utter, food service director at the Bison, South Dakota school district. Bison has been participating since 2022 in Beef to School, a program that aims to connect schools with local beef producers and introduce students to nutritious meat and agricultural education.
