Country star Darius Rucker was arrested in Tennessee on Thursday on minor drug offenses.
A spokesperson for the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee confirmed to The Post that Rucker, 57, was booked on three separate charges.
The Hootie & the Blowfish member was charged with two counts of simple possession/casual exchange of a controlled substance and one count of a violation of the state’s vehicle registration law.
In layman’s terms, Rucker was allegedly involved in a drug handoff and law enforcement claimed his tags were expired.
He appeared emotionless in his mugshot.
His lawyer told The Post in a statement Thursday, “Darius Rucker is fully cooperating with authorities related to misdemeanor charges.”
