Lawmakers pass bill regulating vehicle booting in Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Tennessee House and Senate approved a bill that aims to prevent vehicle owners from being unfairly immobilized by unlicensed individuals. SB1692/HB1731 was introduced in January by Sen. Jack Johnson (R-Williamson County) and Rep. Jake McCalmon (R-Williamson County). It passed through both chambers without a single dissenting vote.
