NORTHEAST TENNESSEE (WCYB) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s most recent statistical report says human trafficking cases are on the rise. In the year of 2023 the coalition of human trafficking received 531 new referrals, statewide believe that number was about 1375 and that was through the TBI hotline, says Jackson.
