NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A heat advisory has been issued for most of Middle Tennessee and Trigg, Todd and Christian Counties in Southern Kentucky from 11am-8pm Saturday. This is dangerous heat, so drink plenty of water and take breaks in the A/C.
High temperatures will be in the upper 90s. Feels like temperatures could reach between 105 to 108 degrees.
Strong storms are also possible late Saturday into Sunday morning. There is a marginal risk (1/5) for areas along Interstate 40 and north.
Storms will roll in after midnight and continue through mid-morning Sunday.
The main threats with these storms will be heavy rain, wind and lightning.
Another round of storms move in around lunchtime and continue into the early evening. Some of these storms could be strong.
