Tennessee man facing charges after high-speed pursuit, drugs, possession of firearm in Nacogdoches County

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, Texas – A Tennessee man accused of leading deputies on a high-speed pursuit through several school zones now faces multiple felony charges. Christopher Michael Chaney, 41, of Tennessee, was booked into Nacogdoches County Jail on Tuesday for possession of a controlled substance, evading arrest with a vehicle, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and tampering with physical evidence, as well as a state-jail felony for possession of marijuana.
