LGBTQ Rights Groups Want the United Nations to Investigate Texas over Anti-LGBTQ Laws

The LGBTQ Rights Group wants to move to the United Nations to look into the 7 Bills passed in Texas that are anti-LGBTQ in nature.

These laws are found to ban care to minors and diversity programs in higher education and Universities, bar trans athletes from college sports, and support the employment of religious chaplains in local school districts.

Not only do these laws restrict any kind of drag performance and regulate the content of books in school libraries, but they also prohibit local governments from passing their provisions for such topics.

The LGBTQ Rights groups have sent an official letter to the United Nations asking for an investigation. The letter doesn’t just stop at the Texas government; the federal government of the US is included, too.

The authors of the letter state that they have been failed by the state government time and time again, so they moved to the federal government and the courts, and they also failed them. Now that the country has failed them, they are turning to the world for help.
