U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) Agents have seized more than 16 million dollars worth of drugs in recent days along the Texas-Mexico Border.

On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, CBP Agents inspecting a semi-truck-load of roses rolling across Laredo’s World Trade Bridge just in time for Valentine’s Day found the flowers were concealing a deadly load of drugs. Agents found more than 1,000 pounds of methamphetamine hidden among the roses with a street value of more than $9,500,000.

Also that day, CBP Officers at the Ysleta Port of Entry seized more than 16 pounds of cocaine which a smuggler was attempting to drive into Texas.
