Utah Weather Force has issued two Thunderstorm Watches, one for Northwest Utah, the Other for Extreme Southwest Utah and Eastern Lincoln Co NV. The Northern area takes effect at 12PM and expires at 10PM. The Southern Watch begins at 3pm lasting until 8PM. Primary Hazards – heavy rain, lightning, non-thunderstorm convective showers. Heavy rainfall can quickly lead to standing water on roadways causing crashes because people are speeding. A full update on the incoming storm will be put out late tonight. It will likely arrive Monday morning bringing more rain and snow to the state.
