SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) – Happy Friday, Utah! After a mostly dry and pleasant Halloween evening, we’re looking at a chilly and dry start to our Friday around the Beehive state.
Bottom Line?! Partly cloudy, mild Friday, but more rain and snow returns this weekend.
Friday will remain dry, with some morning sunshine and then a few more clouds returning during the afternoon and evening hours. High temperatures will likely warm into the mid-50s across northern Utah and into the mid-60s for southern Utah!
Our next storm system will quickly approach the area late Friday night into Saturday. This system will have more moisture to work with and will increase the chances of valley rain in the area on Saturday afternoon. The chances for widespread moisture will increase even more Saturday night through Sunday, bringing rain and maybe a bit of valley snow.
By early next week, another storm might bring colder air and some light valley snow, especially in areas like the Wasatch Back and Cache Valley. There’s a slight chance of strong east winds around Wednesday night as this second storm moves through – something to watch for. Stay tuned!
