How to vote in Utah on Election Day

Tuesday is officially Election Day and as of Nov. 4, over 820,000 Utahns have cast their ballot, according to Lt. Governor Deidre Henderson .

State of play: If you haven’t voted yet, here’s how to make your voice heard:


  • It’s too late to mail your ballot in, instead, take it to a drop box before 8pm. Salt Lake County locations are listed online .
  • Voting centers will be open between 7am-8pm.
  • Under state law, you must bring an acceptable form of identification to vote in person.
  • If you haven’t registered to vote, you can do so at a voting location and fill out a provisional ballot. Two forms of ID are required to register.
