SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Mike Schultz will continue in his role as Speaker of the House and J. Stuart Adams will continue to lead the Senate, as Republicans in the state of Utah announced the roles for House and Senate leadership on Thursday, Nov. 7.
Schultz will be joined by Jefferson Moss (R-Saratoga Springs), Karianne Lisonbee (R-Davis County), and Casey Snider (R-Cache County) in leadership positions. Moss will be the Majority Leader, Lisonbee will be the Majority Whip, and Snider will be the Majority Assistant Whip.

“I am humbled and excited to continue serving as Speaker of the House,” Schultz said today. He continues by saying that he is sure the House of Representatives will continue to do “great things for Utah” for the next two years.
Schultz began his legislative service in 2015 and represents Davis and Weber Counties, he is a graduate of Roy High School.
Jefferson Moss began his service in 2017, he studied at Provo’s Brigham Young University, where he earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree.
