SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) – Happy Wednesday, Utah! It’s a frigid start to the day with morning temperatures in the teens and 20s.
Bottom Line?! It’s a frigid morning, with sunshine returning for our Wednesday.
We’re looking at plenty of sunshine and lighter winds. Highs will warm into the 30s in the north, and low 50s for southwest Utah. The northerly flow will stick around through Friday, meaning temps will drop a bit below normal. Overnight lows will be in the single digits and teens across much of northern Utah with cold afternoon highs in the 30s expected through Friday afternoon.
Our next chance for snow precipitation returns across northern Utah with a potentially stronger storm this weekend.
This system could bring more widespread snow to parts of the area. How much snow we’ll get depends on how this system shapes up, but the northern Utah mountains will likely see the most action. Snow in the valleys is also possible, especially if the timing lines up with colder overnight temperatures.
