ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – The 2024 Miss Virginia pageant was held at the Berglund Center from June 27-29. Saturday night a new Miss Virginia was crowned. Swanson is Miss Blue Ridge 2024 and a third year PhD student at the University of Virginia. She is also the founder of “Music is Unity,” an organization dedicated to spreading musical joy through free performances at schools and nursing homes.
