Razor blades may be inside the bathroom walls of older Virginia homes

Razor blades couold be inside your walls

History Facts says that razor blades may be inside the walls of bathrooms in older American homes because the cabinets once had slots in the back, which were utilized as a safe way to dispose of the blades.

Virginia was the first location for English settlers to make homes in the Commonwealth, which is some of the oldest in the US. If you embark upon restoring an older home in the Commonwealth, you might find razor blades inside the walls or piled up on the ground underneath.

Readers Digest says homes built before 1970 probably have razor blades in the walls or on the ground. Many medicine cabinets have probably been replaced and are unlikely to have the slot but there still could be a stash of razor blades in the walls or underneath older Virginia houses.
