A man wanted for a 2010 cold-case murder in Virginia was apprehended by authorities in Florida after a traffic violation, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office. Timothy Hickerson, 43, had been residing in Palm Coast since last year and was stopped for running a red light at the intersection of Old Kings Road and Frenora Lane. It was during this traffic stop on Tuesday that deputies discovered there was a warrant for his arrest in connection with the murder of 23-year-old Shane Donahue.
