LIST: Central Virginia schools closed, delayed Friday due to Hurricane Helene

The hurricane will make landfall in Florida the evening of Thursday, Sept. 26. While the hurricane itself should not pass through Virginia, the storm system will still bring some severe weather conditions to the Commonwealth — especially heavy rain.
