Duke’s Mayo launches “Welcome to Duke’s Country” ad campaign in Virginia

Duke’s Mayo has a brand new ad campaign rolling out at rest stops across the state: “Welcome to Duke’s Country.”

Why it matters: The tangy condiment wants holiday travelers to know there’s only one mayo brand in the Old Dominion, and it ain’t Hellmann’s.

The big picture: The Richmond-owned Southern mayo company launched the campaign at the end of August, featuring, a 30-second spot (filmed in Austin, but created by Richmond-based Familiar Creatures ), radio ads, billboards , and pop-up displays in 10 rest stops or visitors’ centers in Virginia, including one in Main Street Station.

  • And if you’re looking to get in some yard sign action, Duke’s has you covered there, too. They’ll soon be giving away Duke’s Mayo ’24 signs while supplies last at all 10 stops.
