Virginia Pork and Beans brand is a mystery to some Virginians

Virginia Pork N’ Beans is not a well-known brand

According to Better Homes and Gardens, in 1975, canned Pork and Beans were the first American convience food. Two popular brands are Campbell and Van Camps, but online Cat Spree Club sells Virginia Pork and Beans.

Pork and Beans originated from Native Americans, and the recipe was enhanced by the influence of enslaved African Americans and White colonists in the 1800s. No one I have spoken to has ever heard Virginia Pork N’Beans, which are also sold at Shop Suki.

There is a 2021 YouTube video from Virginia Food Inc. promoting Virginia Pork N’ Beans, but only one person commented. They said they did not recommend these beans because they tasted bad.
