Last week the Sen. Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act unanimously passed the U.S. Senate. The bipartisan legislation Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia cosponsored will cut down on wait times for veterans seeking health care, expand access to home and community-based services (HCBS) for veterans and allow them to remain in their homes and communities and improve pay for Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) health care employees.
