This enforcement measure is part of the department’s commitment to maintaining professional standards in health care.

Enforcement Actions Across Counties

The department’s Health Systems Quality Assurance Division, working with various boards and commissions, oversees licensing for over 80 health care professions. Recent actions include:

  • Douglas County: The certified nursing assistant license of Franklin M. Van Doren was suspended due to failure to appear at a prehearing conference regarding a vulnerable adult abuse case.
  • Spokane County: The registered nurse license of Nicole D. Denobrega was indefinitely suspended, pending her response to charges related to a DUI conviction and subsequent reckless driving.
  • Out of State (Ohio): The licensed practical nurse license of Margueree Clements was indefinitely suspended following probation conditions set by the Ohio State Board of Nursing for unprofessional conduct.
