Disabled and injured workers in Washington may receive additional state assistance

OLYMPIA, Wash.- Disabled and injured workers in Washington may receive additional state assistance in the wake of this legislative session. A policy increasing benefits for Washingtonians who sustained a temporary or permanent disability at work has unanimously passed the State House. HB 2127, which was requested by the Department of Labor and Industries, is cosponsored by Republican and Democratic representatives.
