Washington State’s most expensive restaurant is located inside a more than century-old building

According to a list compiled by LoveFood, the Metropolitan Grill in Seattle has been ranked as the most expensive dining spot in Washington. Known simply as “The Met,” this upscale steakhouse is located in the historic 1903 Marion Building in downtown Seattle.

The restaurant’s menu features premium cuts of meat, with its most expensive offering being the Olive Beef Filet, a 6oz portion of Japanese A5 beef priced at $195.

For a slightly more affordable option, diners can share the chateaubriand for two, priced at $190 and carved tableside with accompanying sides.

The Metropolitan Grill’s luxurious menu and prime location solidify its status as a premier dining destination.
